Electric scooters (or escooters) operate using a hassle brushless hub motor that is built into the wheel. The drive train system is virtually invisible to the naked eye. It uses a lithium based battery (most often Li-Ion) as its source of power, the same kind of batteries that power your hand phone and laptop.
The hub motor does all the work for you at the press of a button or throttle. The only skills requirement is that you have some bicycle balancing skills.
You control the speed of your electric scooter at your will, through a speed control throttle at the handlebar, providing you smooth acceleration.
Our electric scooters can carry you for a distance of 30-40 km on one charge, enabling you to travel for hours.
The difference lies in the built quality, performance and reliability. The batteries of cheaper electric scooter models do not have the capability to last more than 6 months whereas the more premium batteries can typically last up to 2 years.
The built quality of cheaper models is also poorer in that the aluminium alloy used is of a cheaper quality and not manufactured as well as the higher quality materials. This results in hairline cracks which leads to easier breakage of the frame components.
